THOMAS EDISON

Thomas Edison was born on 11th February, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. He was the 7th and last child.

 

Edison had little education as a child , attending school only for a few months. Thomas Edison began working at an early age but continued to study to become a telegrapher and at the age of 16 he was proficient enough to work full time.

 

 

 

 

He was married to Mary Stilwell.

The first great invention developed by Thomas Edison was the tin foil phonograph.
