Dalai Lama

Dalai Lama is well known as a Tibet’s political and religious leader. He worked to make Tibet an independent and democratic state from China. He was born on July 6th in 1935 in China.He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989.

Thomas Edison was an inventor. He was born on February 11 in 1847 in Ohio in America. He is best known form the invention of the electric light bulb, the telephone and the phonograph. He died on October 18th in 1931.
